My name is Dr. Angela Sanford. I am a board-certified Geriatrician, a physician who specializes in caring for older adults. I founded Grandparent Doc LLC. after caring for many, many grandparents in hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and assisted living facilities for 14 years and seeing how our current healthcare system is failing older adults and their loved ones. One of my favorite aspects of working with older adults and their families has been providing guidance on how to successfully age in place and how to plan for the future, while keeping healthy habits and quality of life in the forefront. It is time to help our aging population in a way that doesn't require waiting months for a brief appointment. Here, you will find information, support, and tips that will assist you on your care journey.

About Dr. Sanford:
Dr. Angela Sanford is a board-certified internal medicine physician, who completed a fellowship in geriatric medicine. She is nationally recognized as a leader in the field of geriatrics and is an internationally renown speaker and instructor. She has been featured by news networks, such as Fox and CNN. She lives with her husband and four children and stays busy as an unpaid chauffer, constantly shuttling everyone back and forth from hockey, soccer, piano, and baseball.
